22Rescue2 is a 2022 Chev Silverado 2500 Crew Cab 4wd. It replaces a 1991 Chev Cheyenne 4wd Pick-up truck.
The truck was designed for multiple purposes, primarily as a medical 1st responder unit. A pull-out cargo hauler was added to the bed of the truck containing medical equipment, traffic control equipment, and numerous hand tools. It also has a command board and an array of radios so the Incident Commander has a work area to handle all types of situations. A western plow was added to keep the fire station and numerous water points clear of snow.
Hopefully we can get 25 years of service from this multi-purpose vehicle.
